The AR-15 receiver spur made by S&B products is one solid piece of nylon 6/6. It is resistant to damage from the oils and solvents commonly used with firearms thus providing years of unfailing service.
Any informed person will realize that this product is a result of ignorant people making poor decisions. However if you live in ignorant states, then in my opinion, this is the least disruptive solution to not become afoul of local laws. It would be great to have an option of a detached hand support that plugs into the base hole when you pick up the rifle !!

Great fit and looks, But to bad I need it in NYS.

Spur is a quality product, but just feels awkward.

Excellent grip. Just transformed my range toy (fixed magazine) to a NY compliant AR with detachable mag.
Thorton stock is unsafe since you can't reach fire control. Boar grip IA just uncomfortable to shoot. Tried them all and they all suck.
The Spur grip is a game changer for those of us that live in the socialist paradise that is new york! If you can shoot a glock G-26, you can shoot this in the same way.
